  • 18" to 24": 3 bundles
  • 26" and longer: 4 bundles

Cap size guide

Every flip-over wig is made on a one-size drawstring cap that adjusts to fit most heads. Pull the drawstring to tighten it for a secure fit, no glue needed.

Fullness guide

The longer the wig, the more hair it takes to stay full from root to ends. Here is what we recommend for each length:

  • 10" to 16": 2 Bundles (200g)
  • 18" to 24": 3 Bundles (300g)
  • 26" and longer: 4 Bundles (400g)

Want it extra full? Go one bundle up from the recommendation for your length.

Length guide

Length is measured by bundle length, straight from the weft to the ends. Curly and wavy textures will look shorter than the length you order.

  • 10" to 12": chin to shoulder
  • 14" to 16": shoulder to collarbone
  • 18" to 20": bust
  • 22" to 24": mid-back
  • 26" and longer: lower back

These are approximate and depend on your height and where you part your hair.

The Texture

Raw Indian Wavy

Raw Hair

Raw Indian Wavy is 100% raw, single-donor hair sourced from India. Unlike our Virgin textures, which are steam processed to create consistent texture patterns, Raw Indian Wavy has not been processed to create or alter its natural texture. What you see is the donor's natural hair pattern, which means every bundle is genuinely unique.

Maintenance: High

Hair pattern: Approximately 2A–2B, with natural variation

Choose Raw Indian Wavy if you…

  • Want truly raw, unprocessed human hair
  • Love hair that looks and behaves similarly to naturally growing hair
  • Want an extremely natural-looking blend with your own hair
  • Appreciate natural variation rather than a perfectly uniform manufactured pattern
  • Prefer a slightly coarser, more realistic texture
  • Want hair that can be worn naturally wavy, straightened, curled, or restyled
  • Love body, movement, and styling versatility
  • Are comfortable washing and conditioning your extensions more frequently
  • Don't mind giving your hair consistent moisture and maintenance
  • Prioritize authenticity and versatility over a perfectly uniform texture

Naturally wavy + raw, realistic texture

A naturally wavy, slightly coarse raw texture sourced from India with completely unprocessed character and natural variation. Raw Indian Wavy is loved for its realistic texture, beautiful blend with natural hair, and incredible styling versatility.

What to expect

Raw Indian Wavy will feel and behave differently from our Virgin textures. Because it is completely raw and unprocessed, you should expect natural variation in texture, wave pattern, color, fullness, and overall appearance from bundle to bundle.

Raw Indian hair naturally has a slightly coarser texture, especially when first received. It may not initially have the ultra-soft or silky feel Baibes are accustomed to with some Virgin textures. This is normal and is one of the characteristics that gives Raw Indian hair its realistic appearance and allows it to blend so beautifully with natural hair.

We strongly recommend washing and deep conditioning Raw Indian Wavy before evaluating its final feel and texture. Proper cleansing and conditioning help restore moisture to the strands, soften the hair, and reveal its natural movement and wave pattern.

Raw Indian hair also requires more frequent maintenance. Because it behaves similarly to naturally growing hair, allowing the hair to become excessively dry or allowing oils and product buildup to accumulate can lead to increased tangling, dryness, and difficulty managing the hair.

The natural wave pattern is also not manufactured to be identical across every bundle. One bundle may be slightly straighter, wavier, or more textured than another. These variations are expected characteristics of authentic single-donor raw hair.

Like all naturally textured hair, some tangling and frizz should be expected with normal wear. The strands naturally interact with one another, and tangling can become more noticeable when the hair is dry, has product buildup, experiences friction, or goes too long without being properly cleansed and detangled. Frizz and additional expansion may also occur as the hair is worn, manipulated, or exposed to humidity.

Is it right for you?

Consider another texture if you…

  • Want every bundle to have an identical texture pattern
  • Prefer an ultra-silky feel straight out of the package
  • Want a highly predictable, standardized wave pattern
  • Prefer lower-maintenance extensions
  • Don't want to wash, condition, and detangle your hair consistently
  • Want a texture that looks virtually identical every time you purchase it
Hair care, step by step
1. Wash + condition

Wash and condition Raw Indian Wavy approximately every 7–10 days, or more frequently as needed based on wear, styling, sweating, swimming, and product buildup.

When the hair begins to feel coated, heavy, tangled, dry, or difficult to manage, use a clarifying shampoo to thoroughly remove accumulated oils and styling products.

Always follow clarifying with a hydrating or deep conditioner to restore moisture, softness, and manageability. Raw Indian hair naturally has a slightly coarser texture and performs best when it is kept properly cleansed and moisturized.

We also strongly recommend completing a full wash and deep condition before the first wear, as Raw Indian hair may initially feel coarser or drier straight out of the package.

2. Detangle

Gently detangle Raw Indian Wavy regularly, beginning at the ends and gradually working upward toward the roots.

When more significant detangling is needed, work through the hair while damp and conditioned to provide additional moisture and slip. Avoid aggressively brushing or pulling through knots, particularly when the hair is dry.

Because Raw Indian hair behaves similarly to natural hair, staying consistent with detangling is much easier than allowing knots and tangles to accumulate.

3. Style + refresh

Raw Indian Wavy can be refreshed according to how you choose to wear it. For its natural wavy state, lightly mist with water and use lightweight moisturizing or styling products as needed.

For blown-out, straight, curled, or other heat-styled looks, restyle individual areas as needed rather than repeatedly applying heavy products.

If the hair begins to feel increasingly dry, coated, tangled, or difficult to style, it may need to be properly washed and conditioned rather than having additional product applied.

4. Dry + finish

Raw Indian Wavy can be air-dried to reveal its natural donor wave pattern or blow-dried for a smoother, more polished finish.

When air-drying, remember that the exact wave pattern will vary naturally from donor to donor. When blow-drying or using additional hot tools, always apply a heat protectant beforehand.

Finish with lightweight products as needed to add moisture, smoothness, and shine without creating unnecessary buildup.

Maintenance: High

Raw Indian Wavy requires more maintenance than our Virgin textures because it is truly raw, unprocessed human hair and behaves much like naturally growing hair. It responds to moisture, dryness, oils, product buildup, friction, weather, and styling in a very natural way.

Regular cleansing and conditioning are especially important. Raw Indian hair can naturally have a coarser feel, and allowing oils, products, sweat, and buildup to accumulate can make the hair feel increasingly dry, heavy, tangled, or difficult to manage.

Unlike some extension textures that can go longer between wash days, Raw Indian Wavy typically performs best with more frequent cleansing and conditioning based on wear. Keeping the hair clean and properly moisturized is one of the most important parts of maintaining its softness, movement, and manageability.

The additional maintenance is also part of what makes Raw Indian hair so loved. Its natural texture creates an extremely realistic appearance, blends beautifully with natural hair, and offers exceptional styling versatility.

Typical routine

Wash and condition Raw Indian Wavy approximately every 7–10 days, or more frequently as needed based on wear, styling, sweating, swimming, or product buildup.

When first receiving your Raw Indian hair, we strongly recommend thoroughly washing and conditioning it before judging its final texture or feel. Raw hair may initially feel coarser or drier straight out of the package. A proper wash and deep condition helps restore moisture, soften the strands, and reveal the hair's natural movement and texture.

Between wash days, gently detangle as needed and use lightweight moisture when the hair begins to feel dry. Avoid continuously layering oils and styling products onto the hair instead of cleansing it, as buildup can make raw hair increasingly difficult to manage.

Styling + heat

Ways to style

Raw Indian Wavy is extremely versatile and can be worn in its natural wavy state, blown out, straightened, curled, crimped, or styled into a variety of finished looks.

For a natural finish, wash and condition the hair and allow its individual wave pattern to develop. Because each donor is unique, the exact pattern may range from a subtle wave to a more noticeable natural wave.

Its naturally coarser texture also gives the hair excellent body and makes it especially beautiful for voluminous curls, layered styles, and looks where you want movement and texture.

Raw Indian Wavy also straightens beautifully while maintaining a realistic appearance, making it a great option for Baibes who regularly switch between natural, straight, and curled styles.

Heat styling

Raw Indian Wavy is heat styling friendly and can be blown out, straightened, curled, or otherwise heat styled when you want to switch up your look.

Because its natural wave pattern comes directly from the donor and has not been steam processed to create its texture, the hair can return to its natural wavy state after being properly washed and conditioned, provided it has not been heat damaged. This makes Raw Indian Wavy especially versatile for Baibes who enjoy alternating between natural waves and heat-styled looks.

When blown out or straightened, the hair's naturally coarser texture creates a beautiful, full, natural-looking finish rather than an overly silky appearance. It also holds curls and other heat-styled looks beautifully.

Always use a heat protectant and avoid excessive temperatures or repeated passes with hot tools. Like naturally growing hair, excessive heat can still cause permanent heat damage and alter the natural wave pattern.

Myths vs. facts

"Raw Indian hair should feel extremely silky and soft straight out of the package." Not necessarily. Authentic Raw Indian hair naturally has a slightly coarser texture and may feel especially coarse when first received. Washing and deep conditioning the hair before wear helps restore moisture and reveal its softer, more manageable finished state.

"Every Raw Indian Wavy bundle should have the exact same wave pattern." No. Raw Indian Wavy is not processed to create a standardized wave pattern. Because the texture comes naturally from individual donors, some bundles may be straighter, wavier, or slightly curlier than others.

"If my Raw Indian hair requires more maintenance, that means the quality is lower." No. Raw hair requires more maintenance precisely because it has not been processed into a standardized extension texture. It behaves much more like naturally growing hair and requires consistent cleansing, conditioning, detangling, and moisture.

"Raw hair doesn't need to be washed as often because it doesn't have processing on it." Raw Indian hair actually performs best when kept clean and properly conditioned. Allowing oils, styling products, sweat, and buildup to remain on the hair for too long can make it feel dry, tangled, heavy, or difficult to manage.

"The natural variation means my bundles don't match." Some variation is expected with authentic single-donor raw hair. Slight differences in wave pattern, color, texture, and fullness are part of what makes each bundle unique.

How it compares

Raw Indian Wavy gets its texture directly from the donor rather than being processed to create a standardized wave pattern. This gives the hair natural variation, a slightly coarser feel, and an extremely realistic appearance that blends beautifully with natural hair.

Unlike our Virgin wavy textures, each Raw Indian Wavy bundle can vary slightly in wave pattern, texture, color, and fullness. It also requires more consistent maintenance, but offers the authentic feel and styling versatility that make raw hair so highly sought after.

About Raw Indian Wavy

Raw Indian Wavy is 100% raw, single-donor hair sourced from India. Unlike our Virgin textures, which are steam processed to create consistent texture patterns, Raw Indian Wavy has not been processed to create or alter its natural texture. What you see is the donor's natural hair pattern, which means every bundle is genuinely unique.

The hair naturally has a slightly coarser feel than our Virgin textures, especially when first received. This is one of the characteristics Baibes love most about Raw Indian hair because it creates an incredibly natural appearance and allows the hair to blend beautifully with natural hair. After a proper wash and deep condition, the hair becomes softer and more manageable while still maintaining the natural texture and body that make Raw Indian hair unique.

Because the texture comes directly from the donor rather than being manufactured into a uniform pattern, some bundles may be wavier, straighter, or slightly curlier than others. Differences in texture, wave pattern, color, and fullness are normal characteristics of authentic raw hair rather than inconsistencies or defects.

Raw Indian Wavy does require more maintenance than many of our Virgin textures. It behaves much more like naturally growing hair and responds noticeably to moisture, buildup, weather, styling, and your maintenance routine. In exchange, you get an incredibly natural-looking, versatile texture that can be worn in its natural wavy state, blown out, straightened, curled, and restyled again and again with proper care.

      How to measure

      1. Start at your hairlinePlace the end of a soft measuring tape at the center of your front hairline.
      2. Follow your hairlineGuide the tape just above your ear, following your natural hairline.
      3. Go around the napeContinue around the back of your head along your hairline at the nape.
      4. Return to the startWhere the tape meets the starting point is your head circumference.
Between sizes? We recommend sizing up and adjusting the band for a secure fit. A slightly larger cap can be tightened, but a cap that’s too small can’t be loosened.

      Quick tips

      • Snug, not tight. Keep the tape flat against your head without pulling.
      • Measure as you’ll wear it. Wearing your wig over braids? Measure with your hair prepped that way.
      • No measuring tape? Use a piece of string, mark where the ends meet, then lay it flat against a ruler.

      Standard vs. extra full

StandardOur recommended bundle quantity for a naturally full look.
Extra fullOne additional bundle for a fuller overall look.

Why longer hair needs more bundles

Each bundle is about 100 grams of hair. As the length increases, more of that weight goes into longer strands, leaving less weft to cover the cap. That’s why longer lengths need more bundles to look just as full.

Fullness vs. volumeFullness is the amount of hair used. Volume is how big the hair looks. Texture and styling affect volume, so curly hair can look more voluminous than straight hair with the same number of bundles.

Most of our wig photos show standard fullness for the length shown. The finished look may vary with texture, length and styling.
